Assistant General Counsel IV
About the Position: The incumbent will represent the agency, its Board, and agency personnel in legal proceedings and will be responsible for a wide array of legal issues to include employment law, constitutional law and civil rights, EMTALA, mental health law, department investigations, legislation, policies, ethics, and litigation in all state and federal courts along with other tribunals.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
A license to practice law in State of Oklahoma
An active membership with the Oklahoma Bar Association
Seven years of legal experience including two years of litigation, or agency-defined experience in the practice of law e.g. tax, or supervisory experience

Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.
