Senior Prevention Program Field Representative

About the Position: This position will work under general supervision of a Senior Prevention Programs Manager to accomplish administrative and other support functions related to substance abuse prevention to include implementation of evidenced-based prevention strategies and initiatives impacting communities. This position will support and manage sub-recipient contracts, ensure program requirements are met, prepare and facilitate meetings, develop and analyze state-level reports, and supervise prevention division staff. The incumbent will ensure compliance with the agency standards and best practice requirements in managing and delivering care in programs.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Master’s degree in social work, psychology, public health, public administration, education or related degree and five years professional experience in substance abuse or violence prevention services or related field and one year of program management or supervisory experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

NOTE:  No substitution for bachelor’s degree.
Preference for experience working with families, businesses and faith-based sectors related to substance use disorder/mental health prevention.
