About us:
Come grow with us! The Oklahoma Forensic Center (OFC) located in Vinita, OK is a 24 hour/365 day secure inpatient forensic facility that provides jail competency services for the State of Oklahoma. Currently, OFC has 268 beds for consumers who have been found incompetent for adjudication or adjudicated as Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity. OFC is expanding with construction scheduled to be completed in June 2025 adding an additional 84 beds. When completed, OFC will have a total of 352 beds to house consumers.
About the Position:
The Oklahoma Forensic Center is looking for a Chief Operating Officer. Duties would include directing and managing professional level staff, assisting in directing major multifunctional divisions, or overall responsibility for major division activities involving the principle operations of the facility to include performance metrics, plant operations and building community relationships.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and five years of professional business or public administration experience, including two years in a supervisory or administrative capacity; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of professional or technical administrative experience in business or public administration for each year of the required education. Note: No substitution will be allowed for the required professional experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity.
Special Requirements:
- Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background check.
- Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.
